You are on the path
Sheryl L Cohen PhD
It takes courage to admit that the path you are on isn’t working. This humbling realization is the most important first step towards healing, growth, and change.
Authentic healing requires two ingredients
Willingness to reach out and ask for assistance and the ability of the psychotherapist to connect with and go beyond the client’s point of view.
Gaining a new perspective is key to having a new sense of possibility for oneself.
Therapist and client walk this road together with eyes on the horizon
Sometimes when it seems there is only darkness and confusion, the therapist can provide the hope that is the glimmer of light essential to walk this path towards wholeness.
I provide the environment needed for you to learn skills in compassionate objectivity
It is with an open heart and mind that we can take on the challenge of asking and wrestling with the tough questions of our own lives and finding a more secure place to stand.
